Nettle Weaving Educational Youth Program during the month of February
Through funding support from the Tribal Trust Foundation, the Folk Heritage Museum organized a nettle weaving training programme for three villages of Monpas in Jangbi, Wannling, and Phumzur of Langthil Geog, Trongsa district. This programme was initiated mainly to resurrect the traditional practice of weaving nettle yarn fabrics and pass on the wisdom of their forefathers to the next generation.A Total of 11 youths and 2 elderly participate in the Nettle weaving program in February 2021
