Folk Heritage Museums Souvenir Shop was officially launched and opened to the public on the 1st of August 2018

 Under the edges of Folk Heritage Museum, first, ever souvenir shop was officially launched and opened to the public on the 1st of August 2018. The Museum which functions as exhibition center showcases diverse indigenous products and traditional artifacts prevalent in early Bhutan.

Objectives of the Museum Exhibition Center


The center besides showcasing the product is intended to promote the production of such dying practices at the remote communities of Bhutan.


By way of display and promotional activities, the international visitors and youth of Bhutan will be informed about cultural and traditional societal setting of early Bhutan, and with which culture as one of the pillars of Gross National Happiness has root on it.


The promotional through this “One Stop Shop Center “will trigger peoples attractions towards the traditional and culture have driven business opportunities, and thereby promote the revival of foregone skills and practices continuously sustained for the generation to come.
