There are three main rooms on the top floor, one room at the back and two rooms in the front. The room at the back is the family kitchen. The thabtshang (Kitchen) is the room where core household activities take place. The room has various household items, copper spoons/ladles, spinning wheel, basket and ladle, bamboo wrapped guard salt container, stone grinder, wooden containers, spice mortar, wooden buckwheat noodle machine that uses the lever mechanism to extrude buckwheat dough through small holes to make noodles.

The two rooms in the front comprise of one living area (Baryap) and altar room (Choesham).In the living area. one now finds a very pleasant, well lit room. The walls are painted with typical Bhutanese motifs and the floor is covered with small carpets on which guests can sit, few attractively decorated boxes and cabinets are arranged around the room along with the display of swords, sword belts and scarves, display of clothing, display of various containers and musical instruments, betel leaf/nut/lime container, leather-covered cane boxes complementing the living area.

Every Bhutanese house has an altar room popularly known as Choesham and is often is the most decorated room in the house. The altar room forms the spiritual core of a home and is treated with respect because it is associated with sacred objects and images. People make daily offerings starting with water and butter lamp .These offerings are made to cultivate generosity in the householder and to dispel ignorance. In the alter room one can see the Drum(Nga) and oboe like instrument(Gyaling), Cymbals(Gsilsnyen), Thunder bolt and Bell(dorji & Dribu), Conch shell(Dungkar), wood and brass storing box, war weapons, bhutanese lute, wooden printing block and various religious paintings on wall.
